GRAY Loves: Hidalgo Fabric from Pulp Design Studios for S. Harris Textiles

IT’S NOT OFTEN THAT A FABRIC PATTERN STOPS YOU IN YOUR TRACKS AND IMMEDIATELY COMPELS YOU TO START THINKING OF THE VARIOUS PILLOWS, CUSHIONS, AND BARE WINDOWS IN NEED OF CLADDING. But this particular geometric gem, the Hidalgo embroidered linen fabric from Seattle- and Dallas-based Pulp Design Studio’s textile collection with S. Harris did exactly that.

“Of all the textiles in our new collection, [co-founder] Carolina and I are definitely playing favorites when it comes to Hidalgo,” says Pulp co-founder and principal interior designer Beth Dotolo. “Inspired by a modernized and deconstructed traditional Mexican Otomi fabric, we named this pattern after the region in Mexico where they’re made. We are both planning on using it in different ways in our own homes this year and have been loving incorporating it into different style projects for our clients.”

Hidalgo is available in three colorways, royal (black, tan and royal blue), the more neutral ebonite (black, tan, and cream), and lush (gray, blush pink, and cream). pulpdesignstudios.com
