Co-founded in 2007 by interior designers Beth Dotolo and Carolina V. Gentry, Pulp Design Studios is an iconic force to be reckoned with in the world of interiors, and the firm brings a sense of adventure to the business of design.
With a forward-thinking approach to both commerce and creativity, Pulp has established a unique viewpoint that combines luxury design with a flair for the unexpected. With studios in Dallas, Seattle, Los Angeles, and Portland, the Pulp team works with residential and commercial clients across the country, helping them define their personal style and transforming interiors into spaces that are brag-worthy and innovative.
Always ahead of the curve, Pulp Design Studios expertly encompasses the realms of interiors, property development, media, retail, product design, and industry influencing. The company’s newest division, Pulp Properties, has expanded the brand into real estate development and the experiential hospitality market, including a multi-unit commercial space in Dallas, and a midcentury modern vacation rental in Palm Springs.
Pulp also has an extensive fabric collection with S. Harris, they create and sell their own bespoke Pulp products on their website, produce an in-house magazine titled ICON, and they partner with companies across the globe as spokespeople and ambassadors.

Beth Dotolo, RID, ASID, NCIDQ
Principal Interior Designer | Seattle, WA
After 20 years in interior design, Beth Dotolo has become known for her iconic fearlessness, as well as her hustle and drive. Since receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from The Art Institute, she has designed luxury residences, national commercial + multi-family projects, and has worked in retail merchandising and design.
She has received dozens of awards, including multiple D Home Best Designer honors, an ASID Legacy of Design Award, recognition as a Rising Star in Interior Design by Fashion Group International, and was named “design glitterati” by Modern Luxury magazine.
Beth’s interests are as varied as her design ideas. She enjoys traveling with her sons Maxton and Charleston, and her photographer husband Kevin Dotolo, especially when they join extended family at her beloved Jersey Shore. She’s into cold cocktails, the latest TV and movies, and workouts in her home gym, as well as making pizzas with fresh figs from her backyard trees in Seattle. On weekends you might also find her cuddling with her dogs Alfredo and Bennie while reading books about vampires, dragons, and shadow daddies (IYKYK).
Beth is also a breast cancer survivor and now serves on the WA Advisory Board for Susan G. Komen cancer research while also urging women to get regular mammograms.

Carolina V Gentry, RID, NCIDQ
Principal Interior Designer | Dallas, TX
Recognized for her bold ideas and uncompromising attention to detail, Carolina V. Gentry has over 25 years of experience in interior design and project management. Once she received her bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from Texas Christian University, Carolina immediately went to work at one of the world’s leading hospitality firms. Serving as Design Director in her field, she has since crafted national and international luxury residential, commercial, and hospitality projects from New York City to Asia, including for well-known brands Ritz Carlton, Hyatt Regency, Hilton, and Marriott.
Her awards include multiple prizes as D Home Best Designer, top honors as an ASID Legacy of Design, and recognition as a Rising Star in Interior Design by Fashion Group International.
Expressive and creative, Carolina is fluent in Spanish, both written and conversational, and loves the bright colors and beautiful patterns of her Mexican heritage. Her obsession with fashion and jewelry translates seamlessly into her love for interiors and is evident in her curation of art and accessories for herself and Pulp clients. She is passionate about food, travel and cooking, and has been known to search out the perfect hole-in-wall restaurant wherever she goes. You can find her on the weekends passionately meal-prepping for her and her husband, with her rambunctious Frenchie, Luna, at her feet.
