5 bits and baubles from my week…

There is far too much excitement this week! I hardly know what to do with myself…

1. All in one week… THIS week, to be exact… we have my sister, my uncle, and my mother-in-law’s birthday. And, let’s not forget that Max turned 1 yesterday and this weekend is his first birthday. Oh yeah, and I turn 30 on Sunday! It’s all just too much! 

2. This weekend we are getting Max’s picture taken with Santa for the first time. Last year he was all of two weeks old on Christmas so we opted out. I’m curious to see what he thinks of the big guy in red! 

3. Speaking of Santa, the holiday issue of Sweet Paul Magazine is really getting me in the mood for Christmas! I absolutely love this online publication. You can tell there is a lot of heart and soul put into it. 

4. Anyone else struggle to find their holiday decor style? I want modern, but not trendy… something I can age with… I want to invest in stockings and decor that Max will get excited about because he remembered it from last year. but, I don’t want fad decor. Will over at Bright.Bazaar may be close to hitting the mark with his latest post. Anyone else have any great resources?? I’m still searching for the perfect stocking.
