8 Tips for a Welcoming Guest Room
Yes, it’s time to roll out the red carpet for your holiday guests. Whether they are family or friends you want them to feel welcome and at home. After a decade of working in Hospitality Design and designing Guest Rooms for high-end boutique hotels, I’m obsessed with creating the perfect overnight stay. The Guest Room above, designed by Pulp Design Studios, is a blank canvas for adding in all the little details for your guest’s perfect stay. Here are some of my tips for readying the guest room…
1. Leave a welcome note for your guest with instructions for the goodies in the room. I love these simple little Crane & Co. Correspondence Cards
2. Make your guest really feel at home with some take home Personalized Spa Slippers.
3. Organize your guests goodies on this Scalloped Lacquered Wood Tray from Pulp Home.
4. The CB2 Cora Bedside Carafe is perfect for a parched guest in the middle of the night and way more chic than a plastic water bottle.
5. Crisp clean sheets are a must and this Soprano Peacock Alley Sheeting is amazing!
6. Two of my overnight must haves are Khiel’s Lip Balm and Ultimate Strength Hand Salve. Another useful take home gift for your guest.
7. Provide friends and family with a little snack during their stay. The Pulp Design Studios gang love both of these tasty treats. Funky Chunky Chip-Zel-Pop & Sea Salted Dark Chocolate Bar
8. Don’t forget a cozy throw for extra warmth. I love this Faux Fur Throw from Pottery Barn for those chilly nights. It’s on sale so I might have to get one for myself!
Are you ready for your holiday guests?
