Aspiring Kennedy: Cinnamon Toast to Die For.

I like to read Pioneer Woman.

Can I get an Amen?

She always seems to know how to do everything, well, better.

For example…
who knew there were better ways to make something
as wonderful as Cinnamon Toast?

Ree Drummond did.
And now, so do I…
and in a minute, you will, too.

{Karma man… it’s just so giving.}

Inspired by: Pioneer Woman
 British adaptation: Aspiring Kennedy

First, wake up in England.
{Optional}

Go to the market and buy a delicious loaf of bread.
{Or grab your pre sliced loaf from the pantry.}

Slice your fresh loaf into desired amount of slices for toast.
{2 for him; 1 for me… but I won’t judge you if you eat a million pieces. It’s that good.}

Then put an awkwardly huge amount of softened butter in a bowl

{or after 15 seconds in the microwave because I couldn’t wait… but don’t let it melt!}

Marry about a 1/3 cup of sugar for every two slices…
{don’t think about it. just do it}

Top the sugar off with a good dose of cinnamon,
and then sprinkle on the magic with a few dashes of vanilla.
{hey- this part is fairly calorie free…}

Mix up the ingredients until a grainy, heavenly concoction is yielded.
{You’ll know when it’s ready. It will just feel right.}

Spread that love onto your bread.
{Make sure you make your way all the way to the edges-
you don’t want them to burn while the center is cooking.}

Now, throw these into the oven on 400 for about 8-10 minutes.
{You’ll know they are ready when the top gets a nice tan color that is crystalized.}

Cut them diagonally and brew up some coffee.

Sit down, read a great blog, and get ready…
you might cry.

Because it really is that good.

Yours Truly,
Aspiring Kennedy
