Aspiring Kennedy hits the Foodie Festival
Cheers from England!
{Actually, I’m in Madrid right now as I write this…
but for the sake of keeping the story straight,
let’s pretend I’m still in Oxford.}
As you may know,
I, Lauren, the Aspiring Kennedy
love me some food.
So the fact that Oxford hosted
The Foodie Festival
the day after I moved here…
seemed more like
divine providence,
or a surprise “Welcome to Oxford” party….
than mere coincidence.
{I’m aware that may edge on conceitedness…}
Either way,
it proved to be a nice immersion
to all types of British fare…
and Thai food…
and Indian food…
… and scrummy drinks
like Ginger Beer & Cognac.
The good news is:
whenever you come over to visit me-
I’ll know how to feed you!
Just wait until my next post…

I’ve been trying on the road over the past 2 weeks.
