Behind-the-Scenes of a Playful & Feminine Seattle Townhome
Among all the excitement of the Pulp Design Studios for S. Harris launch, we had a few amazing installs in March! Today we’re taking you on a tour of a freshly installed townhome in Seattle for a client with exuberant feminine style…
A CLASSICALLY FEMININE HOME TRANSFORMATION
WHO IS THE CLIENT?
Our client recently moved to Seattle from Nashville and wanted to make her new house into a well-designed home that brought her style and personality to life throughout. She has playful, feminine style and loves pastels, prints and a good old pop of color. During our on-boarding process and Splendid Living questionnaire, we learned that our client loves to entertain and host guests, so giving her a beautiful guest room and entertaining spaces was a must!
WHAT IS THE SCOPE OF WORK?
This client moved into a builder townhome, so we wanted to add the style and personality of our client through whole-home furnishings with lighting and wallcovering. Whenever we work on a project where we don’t get to select finishes, we find ways to make the space feel custom and one-of-a-kind through things like the beautiful wallcovering we did in her master or the modern, yet feminine light fixtures.
THE INSTALLS BEGIN!
Our client’s master bedroom had a built-in headboard that we couldn’t demo, so we painted it with one of our favorite creamy whites and added a sculptural headboard to create a fresh, layered look. Problem solving at its best!

This client envisioned her finished space to be the perfect spot to have friends and family over to entertain, but also be relaxing and comfortable for her to enjoy on her own. She loves designers like Rebecca Taylor and Kate Spade, so we wanted to incorporate fashion influences in through jewelry-like light fixtures, feminine textiles and plenty of bright colors.
We love when we walk into a client’s home post-install and can feel their personality through the style of their spaces. This project was so fun and playful and we loved seeing it come together! Stay tuned for the final reveal of the completed home…
