DESIGN ASSISTANT / Seattle, WA – filled

Full-Time  

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as first point of contact in the office.
  • Assist with general HR and bookkeeping-related tasks. 
  • General office and project/staff-related tasks and errands
  • Assist in planning team/office functions, lunches, sample sales, trade events, etc. 
  • E-commerce order processing, customer service and inventory management
  • Website and blog updates
  • Assist with various social media platforms
  • Special projects involved with client and customer management
  • Showroom/workroom visits, pick-ups/deliveries, and contractor scheduling
  • Assist in design process; including site visits, installations, CAD drawings, FF&E selections, meeting scheduling and preparation, sample ordering, and project and purchasing-related coordination
  • Assist with special projects related to brand campaigns, pop-ups, trade shows

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Formal education in interior design preferred, but not required
  • Previous administrative experience preferred, but not required
  • AutoCAD experience
  •  Ability to quickly learn new processes, procedures, and user interfaces
  • Communicates clearly and effectively.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Customer service and/or client interaction experience
  • Mac/Apple based user knowledge
  • Must have a working vehicle for office & client-related errands

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be pursuing a degree in Interior Design, in 3rd year of schooling or more, or working towards hours to take the NCIDQ exam.
  • AutoCAD experience
  • Ability to quickly learn new processes, procedures, and user interfaces
  • Communicates clearly and effectively.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Customer service and/or client interaction experience
  • Mac/Apple based user knowledge
  • Must have a working vehicle for office & client-related errands
