Dusting for Prints…
Mother’s Day has come and gone and now it’s time to gear up for Father’s Day! If you plan ahead you can get Dad a gift that has meaning behind it and is still modern enough to suit your lifestyle. I was inspired by my friends at F. is for Frank this father’s day. They have a DIY product called Prints of Love where you take a cast of your little one’s (or your own) finger print and they turn it into a lovely adornment. Think cufflinks, necklaces, key rings… the options are endless. Well, your child has to be at least two years old since the fingerprint isn’t fully recognizable. Unfortunately, Max is out this year. So, until then, I’ve found other print ideas that I love. Although, I’m still holding out for my F. is for Frank Prints of Love!
1. NonFiction Tees, Crime Scene Tee – Ok, this isn’t custom, but I love it anyways.
2. Sunny Champange, Your Fingerprint Art – How great would this be to have one made for each member of the family?
3. Otete & Anyo, Hand & Foot Stamps (via little. lovely.) – These would make such great thank you cards, birth announcements, or art.
4. F. is for Frank, Prints of Love – If you have a child over two years old, please, do it for me! I’ve been dying to have this done since before Max was even conceived. I love this idea!!
Do you have any other clever gift ideas for Father’s Day??
