Fall Sweeps Week 2!

Hello friends! I hope you had a great weekend… Now, it’s time to start planning your evenings for the week. This is my favorite time of year: Sweeps Week!! If you don’t know already, I’m a big fan of television. I plot and plan my entire season. Most of the shows I watch are just plain greatness and some are just guilty pleasures. Either way, here are the premieres I’m watching this week…

90210 – CW
Premieres Monday, Sept. 13, 8/7c

Why I’ll Watch…
I honestly don’t have an answer for you. I think I may just be trying to re-live the glory days of the original 90210.

Gossip Girl – CW
Premieres Monday, Sept. 13, 9/8c

Why I’ll Watch…
Chuck Bass. Chuck Bass! Chuck Bass. I love this show! It’s high on comedy, high on fashion, high on romance, and of course high on drama. I love it!!

One Tree Hill – CW

Premieres Tuesday, Sept. 14, 8/7c

Why I’ll Watch…
This show was really great at one time. You connected with the characters on a deeper level than you would imagine for a CW show. And, they were the first of their kind to jump several years ahead in their story lines, which I thought was genius. Some seasons are good. Some are not so good. But, I keep coming back to see where the group stands. It always leaves me satisfied in the end.

It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia – FX

Premieres Thursday, Sept. 16, 10/9c

Why I’ll Watch…
This is one of THE funniest shows on television… ever. I may be bias since I am from Philadelphia, but this gang of idiots keeps me laughing in every single episode. If you want balls to the walls comedy, this is your show. And… Charlie… if you’re listening, my husband and I want to have dinner and drinks with you.

Why I’ll Watch…

This is actually the show that I am most excited about for many reasons. The first is obvious, it’s based on the Jersey Shore where I’ve vacationed just about every summer of my life. Second, it’s from the writers of the Sopranos and deals with the gangs of Atlantic City. Thirdly, Martin Scorsese. Do I need to say anything else?? No. But, there’s still more: Steve Buscemi & Michael Pitt. I can not wait for this show. If this show isn’t amazing, I’ll eat my words… this is a must see!
