Just as they do with their clients’ projects, the Pulp duo bring their personal visions to life in their own homes. Carolina Gentry’s renovated house was originally her husband’s family home – a 1950s ranch that was built by his grandparents. Located in an amazing Dallas conservation district, Carolina and the Pulp team worked for three years to renovate the house and execute her and her husband’s ideas for their ‘new’ family home. The result is a more open and livable floorplan, perfect for entertaining, with a gourmet kitchen, a sunken living room, a library/TV room, and fabulous outdoor spaces.

It was key to Carolina and her husband that the kitchen should be the largest space. Since they had lived in a loft for many years, the open concept was really important to them.

This was a guest bedroom, but Carolina turned it into a multi-purpose space that serves as both a library/office and a TV room. She also made it extra cozy with a dark Outer Space paint color from Sherwin-Williams.

This is Carolina’s oasis from the world. She wanted to bring nature indoors, so she had custom tall windows installed that let in both the light and the greenery just outside.
