The Purist:

If you’re a purist and love the ritual of fresh arrangements each week then Fresh flowers are a great way to enhance your space seasonally.

For fall some Pulp seasonal favorite are: Dahlias, Chrysanthemums, & Hydrangeas.

Pulp Quick Tip:

Do you need your blooms to open faster? Fill your vase with hot (not boiling) water. Need to keep them looking great a little longer? Cold water, even with a few ice cubes, will do the trick!

The Nurturer:

If you’re the patient and nurturing type, Orchids are a wonderful experience. Orchids are not for beginners and you need a nurturing spirit to keep live orchids thriving. It takes a true green thumb and a delicate balance of attention to care for these delicate plants!

Pulp Quick Tip:

Orchids like light, but not all of them can bear direct sunlight. A window sill facing the east or west would be ideal. If you’re attempting to care for an orchid, some research is in order to consider the 4 important factors: Soil, Water, Humidity, & Light.

The Jet-Setter:

When you want a fresh arrangement, but you’re on the go or just plain busy – which most of our clients are – Succulents may be the best choice for you. They don’t require a ton of care and add a lot of life to your space.

Pulp Quick Tip:

Succulents love sunlight. Give them as much sun as possible. When selecting succulents: The greener the succulents, the greater chance they will survive inside. Instead of focusing on having a variety of color, look for green succulents in a variety of shapes.

We aren’t all blessed with a green thumb. For our busy clients who can’t seem to keep plants alive, we still think adding a little life to your space will be a pick-you-up.
