a little piece of me…

We started the weekend off by celebrating our friend Angela’s birthday… A low key backyard get-together was just what we needed! Max got to meet a new friend and Kevin and I celebrated with some old ones. For Saturday, Kevin got tickets for us to see Wicked here in Dallas. I’ve been wanting to see it in NYC for quite some time now, but the stars just haven’t aligned. We had a pre-show dinner at Meddlesome Moth here in Dallas. Great beer, amazing mussels, and to-die-for veal sweet breads with a bacon jam (that’s right! bacon jam). It was a great dinner and a great show. We capped the weekend off with a lazy Sunday… we hung out, we worked a bit, we laughed, we watched Max come this close to crawling, and we watched the season premiere of True Blood. I just love a weekend. And, I can’t wait for the next one! Here are some scenes from this weekend…
