Objects of Splendor :: The Anatomy of Love

I’ve been a lover of the anatomical heart since my friends at F. is for Frank created their Justin’s Heart keychain.

Justin Sullivan sculpted this heart for a benefit that helped him pay his medical bills during his fight with cancer. Though I wasn’t close to him, there are so many things dear to my heart about him and this keychain. My husband and I attended Justin’s benefit on our first date and received this keychain crafted by F. is for Frank as a thank you for attending. It had a note that said ‘Thank you from the bottom of my heart.” Sadly, Justin passed away in 2009 (on my birthday, actually) at the age of 33. We have held on to our keychain as a token of our love and as a reminder of how precious life can be. 75% of the proceeds of this keychain benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

It would make an amazing gift for the love of your life, or even a single friend. This off-the-beaten-path keychain has an incredible story of love behind the making of it…

I even managed to pick out a card for you to pair it with!

Did I mention I just love F. is for Frank??
