Stirred by the vibrant, organic palette of Napa Valley after the vineyard harvest, Beth Dotolo and Carolina V Gentry of Pulp Design Studios created a layered landing that features warm neutrals and saturated colors.

While earthy hues ground the space, brass, gold, and pops of bold color speak to the results of the harvest: wine, riches, and relaxation.

“Napa is a place to unplug, where time stops and you are surrounded by a melting pot of artists, chefs, and wine lovers all seeking the same cultural enlightenment,” Dotolo says. “We love the experience of the escape. Encompassed by idyllic landscape, Wine Country living is luxury simplified.”

The designers brought more of the outdoors in with graphic patterns on furniture, a rug, art, accessories, and a custom-designed wall covering by Pulp Home that take their cue from the geometric yet organic forms of the vineyard.

“The warm, inviting landing is truly a celebration of the opulence that comes from reaping the rewards of a harvest,” Gentry says. “It’s an intimate yet unexpected space, a jewel box setting that elevates the homeowner’s daily experience and embodies Pulp’s commitment to splendid living.”

“Splendid Living,” in fact, is the linchpin to Pulp’s philosophy for interior design. “We create spaces that improve how clients ‘do life,'” Dotolo says. “After all, it’s not just about a beautiful space, it’s how you live in it.”

Dotolo graduated from The Art Institute with a bachelor of fine arts in interior design, while Gentry, who has more than 15 years of experience in interior design and project management, holds a bachelors degree in interior design from Texas Christian University.

In addition to full-service interior design, Pulp is a lifestyle brand that includes Pulp Home, an online shop of original designs and curated goods.
