Thank You, Blindly!
When I first saw this new ‘thank you’ note writing service, Thanks For Everything, I had mixed emotions.
On the one hand, gathering a list of your gift-givers and getting a post-wedding break by blindly having someone else write your witty ‘Thank You’ notes is… well… genius! I know my hand was cramping after wedding and baby.
On the other hand, I feel that writing a note to tell some one they are appreciated is the least you can do after receiving a thoughtful gift. Plus, after facebook, blogging, and twitter, there’s just something so nice about a hand-written note.
So, after much thought and consideration, I’ve decided that these are the only ‘blind’ thank you notes that I plan on sending… I have recently become quite enthralled with a letterpress technique call ‘blind debossing’. It’s so very modern with an unexpected subtlety.
