Can you believe how much he’s grown??

• I am dy-ing over this shoe from Shakuhachi at Need Supply Co!
• I can’t get enough of this Maxiskirt at Madewell.
• Having a major love affair with this poncho.

Have a super fab weekend! Hope you get to relax & let loose.

I am so hopping on this fall trend! I love the earthy, yet bold & graphic, feel of the Native American styles showing up this season. I am dying for that luggage bag and, ooooh, the wallpaper. I’ve got to source that.

The color green can seriously pack a punch! Especially when contrasting against greys, camels, and patterns. I’m determined to take on the color Emerald Green this fall in my wardrobe and in my interiors. Isn’t it fantastic.

What are your plans this weekend??

A couple of weeks ago, Carolina and I cleaned out my closet. I needed to get organized, purge, and get rid of things that I haven’t worn in a long time. My tastes have changed (and, ahem, my size has changed). I ended up purging 6 large bags of clothes & shoes that hopefully will go to a better cause than eating up space in my house for no good reason.
Of course, a trip to the Lakewood Goodwill donation drop had to end in a rare trip to the Lakewood IHOP for a funny face pancake for Max, in which he ate with his shades on.
So, when is the last time you cleaned out your closet?? Any closet tips you want to share?
TIP: A great hint I saw on the Nate Berkus Show the other day… Put all your clothes in your closet with the hangers facing backwards. When you take it out to wear it, put the hanger back in the right way. Any hangers that are still turned backwards after 6 months should be donated. They said 6 months, but I’m gonna say 9 months! Our Texas seasons are a totally random, so some seasonal items just won’t get worn because of the weather.

I love the color fuchsia. If I had to pick a favorite color, this might be it. I love it for fall and combining it with other jewel tones. It’s totally bringing me inspiration right now in fashion and interiors. In fact, hop over to the PULP Design Studios blog to see an entire fuchsia post dedicated to hot pink interiors!
What do you think of the color fuchsia?? It’s not for everyone.
