Behind the Scenes: Traditional Home Napa Valley Showhouse 2016
After a whirlwind of a week in Napa Valley, we’re back in the office reminiscing about the process of putting together our design for the Traditional Home Napa Valley Showhouse 2016. We were chosen alongside a group of acclaimed designers to design a portion of the showhouse — we chose the stair landing and grounded our design in inspiration from the Napa Valley winery industry and landscape.
The showhome, owned by the proprietor of Peju Province Winery, is surrounded by vineyards and amazing rolling hills. We had the chance to bring some of our employees with us to help with the install, enjoy the scenery and celebrate the launch of the showhouse… We even gathered with the other designers for a wine and dinner party on the property the night before the launch.
Thank you and congratulations to all of the designers and teams involved, including the amazing Traditional Home Editor in Chief Ann Maine, Elizabeth McDonough and Lauren Tapper! We’ll give you a full breakdown of everything in the new year, but for now, we wanted to show you a little peek behind the scenes…
