PULP Designs VS Breckinridge Taylor with Habitat for Humanity

Maybe you’ve heard murmurings around town (here and here) or perhaps you’ve been watching our Twitter feed. Either way, you may know that Carolina and a select Dallas team will be participating in this year’s Habitat for Humanity Design Duel (yes, “Design Duel“!… we’re so ahead of the curve).

This will be the duel of the year, folks!! We’ll be battling against fellow Dallas designers Breck Woolsey and Charles Taylor of Breckinridge Taylor for bragging rights as the “Top Designer” of Dallas Area Habitat for Humanity’s “Design Duel.” Each team is assigned to redesign two finalists’ living/dining areas sourcing exclusively from Dallas Area Habitat ReStores and using a $3,000 budget in a three-week time frame. Phew!! Think we can do it?

Before we get started, though, Habitat for Humanity needs your help. Do you live in the Dallas metroplex? Need a new interior look? Then you’re in luck!!

Enter to win this awesome makeover online at www.designduel.org or in-store at one of the three Dallas Area Habitat ReStores, located at 2800 North Hampton Road in Dallas, 3546 Forest Lane in Dallas, and 451 West Interstate 30 in Garland by September 14th. Provide your personal contact information, up to three photos of your living/dining area, and a short paragraph on why you should be chosen for the makeover for a chance to win one of the two final spots. Five semi-finalists will be selected and their entries posted to www.designduel.org where consumers will vote for two finalists who are most deserving of a redesign.

Our design team will be paired with one super lucky finalist who has the most compelling home entry and then the magic will begin! After the redesigns are complete, a panel of local judges – including interior designers and media personalities – combined with a percentage of public votes will determine the ultimate “Top Designer”.
Ding. Ding. Ding. (wish us luck!!)
