The Easiest Way to Transform Your Home
Beth + Carolina share the two easiest ways to completely transform a home.
Behind the Scenes — Traditional Home Dallas Showhouse
The Traditional Home Dallas Showhouse is just around the corner, so we couldn’t help but share a behind-the-scenes look at our Grand Entry and Stairway design progress. When we first laid eyes on the space we were instantly inspired by it’s potential to be an impossible-to-forget welcome to a stunning home. We set out to infuse this space with interest, bold details and touches from some of our favorite vendors. With a jaw-dropping wallcovering by Bridget Beari installed, and accessories and custom furnishings arriving everyday, we couldn’t be more excited about the progress.
The stunning features in this rendering come from so many of our go-to vendors, including Behr Paint, S. Harris, Made Goods, Century Furniture, The Rug Company, Again & Again, Circa Lighting, Visual Comfort, Taylors on Ten, Phillip’s Collection and Crossville Tile.

The Design Phase

After our initial site visit, we immediately imagined a daring and energetic space that lived out our “flair for the unexpected” design philosophy. We came together and pulled some of our favorite textiles and materials and connected a scheme that would not disappoint. The wonderfully talented Jane Gianarelli took our design plans and produced the first look rendering at our Showhouse space.
The Installations

Let there be light! Perfectly unique lighting fixtures by Circa were the first to go in. We are so thankful to the teams at Circa, Visual Comfort and Taylors on Ten for jumping through hoops to ensure these stunning fixtures were a part of our space.

It’s hard to believe these walls were a blank canvas before the grasscloth wallcovering by Bridget Beari went up. The transformation is jaw-dropping and we cannot wait for you to see it!

We designed this chaise lounge with an absolutely captivating S. Harris fabric. Made by Again & Again, we couldn’t be happier with the result of this piece. S. Harris never disappoints when it comes to unique fabrics– we selected beauties for this lounger and the window treatments.

No space would be complete without the “Pulp Final 15”. We selected unique and interesting objects to complement the rest of the daring design. We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of the remaining furnishings…
The Showhouse is a can’t-miss if you are in the Dallas area. Tickets can be purchased here and proceeds benefit the Alzheimer’s Association. The Showhouse is open to the public with special events from September 23 to October 22. We can hardly wait!
See you there!

Interior Trend — Marble Clad Hoods
We can state with a matter of fact that we will never stop loving marble — especially in all those unique places around a space. Determined to paint luxury on every inch of the spaces we design for our interior design clients, we only want to see (and design) more marble clad hoods. There is no part of the home that should be left untouched by quality and beautiful material. A few of our favorite kitchens using this eye-catching trend…

The Pulp Edit: September 2017
We’re kicking off the beginning of Fall with plenty of patterns, perfectly unique details and color. Our top ten favorite interior design trends and materials of September 2017…

This cement tile from LiLi is graphic, bold and all around stunning. Unique tile always adds that “wow” factor in a space that every client wants. We have been loving LiLi Tile for their dynamic selection– we’re always uncovering new favorites that inspire a flood of new design ideas.

Can you say Final 15 with a flair for the unexpected? These dice boxes are the perfect blend of a well-styled accessory with personality. There is no day that we aren’t integrating interesting pieces like this into our interior design clients‘ projects. We love those little details that make you do a double take.

We spotted this to-die-for bench in the September/October 2017 issue of Veranda. Photographed by Max Kim-Bee and selected by Thomas Pheasant, we love the chic and glamorous feel of this custom bench.

We love the urban garden feel that these floor-to-ceiling windows create in this room featured in the September 2017 issue of House Beautiful.

It’s no secret that we love a good wallcovering. The Feather Zebra wallcovering by Schumacher is soft, but still captivating and would create so much interest in a space.

We are loving this vibrant wallcovering by Anna Redmond. It’s all about pattern play when it comes to finding that perfect print to elevate a client’s space.

Sometimes a room just needs a punch of pop art. This pillow is fun and funky and adds that extra touch of personality. Spotted in the September 2017 issue of Better Homes & Gardens, this hip pillow was photographed by Nathan Kirkman.

Flipping through the latest issue of Better Homes & Gardens, this intriguing piece of art jumped out. We love selecting pieces like this that instantly captivate everyone’s eyes. This space was photographed by David Land.

One trend that will always make our favorites list is bold use of classic materials all over a space. This marble table photographed by Bjorn Wallander in the September 2017 issue of House Beautiful is every bit luxurious as it is functional.

Last, but certainly not least, is one of our all-time favorite wallcoverings. We recently installed this beauty in our Dallas Showhouse space and it is nothing but stunning. Bridget Beari knows how to do it…
